While providing access to the content of the multiplast.wroc.pl website, we use cookie files (so-called "cookies").

What are "cookie" files?

"Cookies" are small secure files, saved and stored in the end users' devices for the use of websites. The "cookies" usually contain the name of the website they come from, the duration of their storage in the end user device and a unique number.

What do we use "cookie" files for?

"Cookie" files are used to adapt the content of websites to the user's preferences and to optimise the way in which websites are used. They are also used to compile anonymous, aggregated statistics that allow us to understand how the users use websites and then help us improve their structure and content while excluding the personal identification of the user. Most of all, it will allow the user to adjust the website being displayed to the user's individual preferences.

What "cookie" files do we use?

Two kinds of the "cookie" files are used - "session" and "persistent" ones. The former are temporary files which are kept in the user's device until logout or turning off the software (the Internet browser). The "persistent" files are kept in the user's device for a period of time defined in the "cookie" files parameters or until they are manually deleted by the user.

Deleting "cookie" files

In many cases, an application used to browse internet sites (an Internet browser) is set by default to allow the "cookie" files to be stored in the end user's device. These settings can be modified in such a way as to prevent the automatic management of "cookie" files in the Internet browser settings or provide information whenever they are sent to the user's device. The software (the Internet browser) settings include detailed information about the possibility and methods to manage "cookie” files.

Switching off "cookie" files

If you choose to switch off "cookie" files, it is likely to affect your ability to use some of the functionalities available on the website.
